Sports Direct International plc (''the Company'') was notified on 1 November 2007 by Michael James Wallace Ashley that he continued to hold 410,400,000 ordinary shares of 10p each in the Company but that by reason of the reduction in the number of ordinary shares in issue with voting rights he was now interested in 67.90% of such shares.
