其實「在晚上」， 有三種說法: at night ,in the night 和 on the night 。用法不同，意思上也有些差別

1. at night 泛指「在夜晚」，night 前不加冠詞，

   He often stays up at night. 他晚上經常熬夜.
   

2. in the night 某個夜晚，night 前加定冠詞the，表示一個時間段，相當於ring the night.
   Xiao Ming visited me at 10:30 in the night. 小明晚上10點半來看望了我。

3. on the/a night 特指某一具體日期的夜晚，受具體日期的限定

   1) He dropped in on a cold winter night. 一個寒冷冬日的夜晚，他順道拜訪了我。
   2) The party was held on the night of his brithday. 聚會是在他生日那天晚上舉辦的。
